What type of work do you do at PolySystems?
What are your responsibilities?

I assist clients in the implementation of PolySystems software. I also support existing clients and manage a group of actuaries that support clients. I act as a PolySystems manager for large projects.

How does your work help your clients be ready for what's next?  How has your and your team's work made an impact for your clients? How has your team's work made an impact for PolySystems?

We provide clients the tools needed to get the job done quickly, efficiently, and with a high degree of accuracy. Our clients can spend more time analyzing instead of number crunching.

By providing excellent customer service, we encourage clients to return with new projects.

Tell us about your professional activities.

I am an FSA, MAAA and I have spoken at SoA meetings and presented at the SoA Reserves Seminars cosponsored with PolySystems.

How did you come to work in this line of work? What experience do you bring to your job at PolySystems?

I previously worked at a small mutual life insurance company and at a large accounting firm.

How did you hear about PolySystems? How is it different than other companies you have worked for?

I used PolySystems' timeshare services when I was at Coopers and Lybrand. Working at PolySystems gives me the opportunity to work on many different lines of business for many different companies ranging in size from very small to very large.

What do you enjoy most about working at PolySystems?

PolySystems has given me the opportunity to travel to Japan, Taiwan, Korea, and India. I have probably been to Tokyo more in the past nine years than any other city in the world, including the United States.

I am an avid runner, have done many triathlons, and play Go.
