What type of work do you do at PolySystems? What are your responsibilities?

I am a Vice President and Account Executive responsible for sales. Over the last 17 years with PolySystems, I have helped our clients realize the benefits of using our systems and services. I help build the working relationship between our actuarial production team and client actuaries. We work very hard to make sure that our client business requirements are satisfied by PolySystems applications.

I most often plan and lead our sales presentations. Our production staff provides a group of experienced actuaries that conduct the actual demonstrations and relate our systems to the client's business requirements.

What excites you about your work? How is it helping you grow and be innovative? What do you find most interesting or compelling about your work?

When I began working at PolySystems in 1994, we had 35 people and shared an office space. We now have over 85 employees and an east coast office. Helping to grow our client base and capacity for work is very gratifying. I enjoy helping our clients solve business issues.

How did you come to work in this line of work? What experience do you bring to your job at PolySystems?

Prior to 1994, I worked in sales at ISI Systems. ISI provides rating, billing, and administrative services to the life and P&C insurance industry. I also previously worked in a regional office of Farmers Insurance as a Systems Support Representative.
